Paris Day 2 - Part 2

To make full use of the Paris Museum Pass which allowed us into many of the tourist/historical sites for a one off payment of i think 30 euro, we had to find nearby attractions and go for as many as possible, this is our usual kiasu-ness inherited from the asian in us.

beware of pigeons, they may shit at you at any time

the Conciergerie, not too good of an attraction, Marie Antoinette got prisoned there, and that's just about as exciting (if that is even exciting enough) as it got, apart from this nice spiral staircase

Sainte-Chapelle, home of the most stained glass windows in a church i have seen. nice, but you need to know what you're looking at. it's supposedly the story of the bible interpreted into stained glass art, but we got bored after looking at one section of the stained glass

then it was off on the Paris Metro in search of something more interesting....

The Pantheon, with its high ceiling and huge ass paintings and a pendulum right in the middle the catherdral....

the pendulum, to show the movement of the earth corresponds to time??

down below are the catacombs, where famous dead french people have tombs there

victor hugo wrote les miserables.....and is quite an important person in the frech revolution perhaps?

the outside of the Pantheon

forgot what this park was called, but it was a bit too cold to hang out there for too long....

double decker train in the Paris metro....we went home, to get warm and then maybe go out again, to see some 'intresting' stuff

to be continued ... tomorrow!!
