Turkey @ Caroline's Part II

So, all went well with the turkey. It was nicely cooked and together with the pork stuffing.....yuuuuuuuuuumm!! And the herb bread..... that was the bomb!! it was out in no time... now have to wait another year to have it again....

Pork belly with apple sauce, mashed potatoes, lamb.....overall, the food was DAMN GOOD!!! Thanks to the Keong's for having us over.

Turkey @ Caroline's

Tonight will be another christmas dinner at Caroline's. They're attempting to roast a turkey. Turkey wrapped in bacon strips!! Yum Yum..... i was salivating when i saw the turkey!!


some grilled veggies to go with the turkey, there should also be some herb bread with balsamic vineger and somemore food stuff....(can't wait to get there in an hours time!!)

however, when it came to time to carve the turkey and both caroline & stephanie turned it over, lo and behold, it looked like pak chang kai!!!


looks like it's back to the oven for a bit more......

Merry Christmas!!

It's the time of year again where we sing along to christmas carols, go all crazy buying gifts at the very last minute, wrapping presents that will only be ripped apart in 2 seconds, eating loads of turkey and all other things christmas.....

what will always remind me of christmas this year is this.....

aiping has been addicted to it since it came out for this holiday season, and she's gotten me addicted to it too!! and, the hole that it made in our wallets is sotally not funny, at RM15 a pop, that's one really expensive coffee.....

Behind the Scenes - The girls room

So i was holed up with the bridesmaids in the room, and being a wedding photographer, must take dress shots la....what else....

the girls were rehearsing their speeches for the night, not even the real thing yet and tears were already flowing..... waste tissue only!!

was supposed to do this shot with more light on the model and clearer corridor, but forgot to do it.....

carpet had a nice horseshoe design, EVERYTHING in the hotel had a horse element, for example, the table legs were horse legs....

is she rehearsing for a sad scene or what??!! just 3 lines into the speech and she's already sobbing

It was a VEEEEEEEEEEEERRRY Hot afternoon!! But that's what we wanted, not rain...so good lah.

It was the rehearsal for the Garden Wedding........

this is what happens after 2 weeks of in-activity and nothing to blog about.....then suddenly got so many things to blog about that it takes 3 posts and countless more photos.....

The One where the Bride and Groom says things to each other and then have Dinner....

So finally, we're down to the last part of the multi part celebration..... (like all things "girlfriends", a celebration must be over a period of days, for example, a birthday celebration is as follows.....a pre-birthday countdown party, a dinner and party on the actual day, and party again on the weekend of a birthday if the birthday did not fall on a weekend!!)

Off to the palace of the Golden Horses for the next day of celebration.....

Just off topic for a bit, it has been raining in the afternoons from the weekend before right up till Friday night.....i think some of Fiona Fifoto's witchcraft must've rubbed off me, coz on all 3 JustFern's wedding celebrations, it did not rain!!

Ok.....at the bridal suite.....forgot what the name was.....it was something like 'Host of Nations' or something......tiger woods stayed there before.....also fidel castro..... and a few more which i didn't bother to remember......

OK folks!! That's the end of my stint of a photographer for the 3 days. so begitula ceritanya from 28th, 29th and finally 30th of November 2008.

Really happy to see the both of you finally getting hitched, had a fantabulous time taking your pre wedding shots in Melbourne, your pre wedding in KL with Fifoto, seeing your countless wedding dresses and fittings, picking out 100 pictures out of the 30GB's wort of picture taken and up to designing your photobook and preparing the slideshow that was pulled off at the last minute....and all the starbucks, lunches and dinners, movies and all the other times........

LOVE YOU BOTH.... (from me and aips!!)
